Living with Long COVID

A Long COVID symptom tracker for a recovery that will not follow a straight line

A chronic illness tracker and gentle companion that already knows what Long COVID can involve — so you do not have to explain it from scratch.

What Long COVID can involve

Long COVID is the name for symptoms that continue or develop after a COVID-19 infection and go on for weeks or months. Fatigue, breathlessness, brain fog, a racing heart, changes to smell and taste, pain and broken sleep are among the most commonly reported — and they can change from one day to the next.

Many people also describe a crash after doing a little too much, similar to the post-exertional malaise of ME/CFS. Good days and bad days that do not seem to follow any pattern are far easier to talk about once they are written down. taluvu's founder lives with parosmia that began after COVID — that story is here.

An estimated 2 million people in the UK were living with self-reported long COVID as of early 2023.

How a day can feel

If your days sound anything like this, taluvu was made with you in mind.

  • “Standing up too fast still catches me out.”
  • “I lose words in the middle of a sentence.”
  • “Doing a little more sets me back for days.”
  • “People have moved on from it, and I cannot.”
  • “I look well, which makes it harder to be believed.”

These are the kinds of things taluvu invites you to say in your own words — never a checklist of what anyone “should” have.

What taluvu helps you keep track of

Choose Long COVID and it starts you with a palette, not a blank form.

These are things people living with Long COVID often want to keep an eye on. Remove any you do not need, add your own, and check in with a few taps on the days you have very little to give.

  • Fatigue
  • Post-exertional crash (PEM)
  • Brain fog
  • Breathlessness
  • Palpitations
  • Loss of smell or taste
  • Muscle pain
  • Sleep problems
  • A journal in your own words, not a score
  • A plain-English week view of what stands out

  • Your care team’s details in one place

taluvu never claims one thing caused another. It shows what is worth noticing and leaves the medicine to your doctor. See how a check-in works.
