Living with IBS

An IBS symptom tracker for the days you have to plan around

A chronic illness tracker and gentle companion that already knows what IBS can involve — so you do not have to explain it from scratch.

What IBS can involve

Irritable bowel syndrome is a common long-term condition of the digestive system. It brings stomach pain, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation or a mix of them, often with urgency, nausea and a tiredness that has nothing to do with sleep. Nothing shows on a scan, which does not make it any less real.

Food, stress, hormones and sleep can all play a part, and the pattern is different for everyone. A calm daily record of what happened — and what it cost you — is what makes your own pattern visible, and makes it easier to say out loud.

IBS is thought to affect somewhere between 1 in 10 and 1 in 25 people worldwide.

How a day can feel

If your days sound anything like this, taluvu was made with you in mind.

  • “I know where the toilets are before I agree to go.”
  • “Safe food stops being safe without warning.”
  • “I cancel because I do not trust my body.”
  • “People treat it as a joke.”
  • “The bloating makes my own clothes unbearable.”

These are the kinds of things taluvu invites you to say in your own words — never a checklist of what anyone “should” have.

What taluvu helps you keep track of

Choose IBS and it starts you with a palette, not a blank form.

These are things people living with IBS often want to keep an eye on. Remove any you do not need, add your own, and check in with a few taps on the days you have very little to give.

  • Abdominal pain
  • Bloating
  • Diarrhoea
  • Constipation
  • Urgency
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • A journal in your own words, not a score
  • A plain-English week view of what stands out
  • A Doctor Summary you own and can print
  • Your care team’s details in one place

taluvu never claims one thing caused another. It shows what is worth noticing and leaves the medicine to your doctor. See how a check-in works.

A calm, colour-coded week view of someone's health story in taluvu, showing gentle patterns rather than a raw score.
