Your Data, Export and Deletion

taluvu is designed to keep your private notes on your phone.

Where your information lives

Your journal, check-ins, symptom notes, reflections and calendar entries are stored locally on your device.

taluvu does not keep a server copy of this information.

What taluvu does hold on its server

A short list, and only when you have used the feature it belongs to: your reminder registration if you turned notifications on, the anonymous usage signal if you turned it on, and the fair-use counters that stop any one device using more than its share of Asha.

None of it contains your notes, your check-in answers, your conditions or your symptoms. The Privacy Policy sets out the full list.

Exporting your information

You can export your information where the app allows this — in Me › Privacy & Support › Download my data.

Deleting your information

You can delete your local taluvu data from your device.

Deleting your local data will remove your notes, check-ins, journal entries and reflections from this device. This may not be reversible unless you have exported or backed up your information.

Deleting also asks taluvu to remove everything it holds on its server for that device — your reminder registration, your anonymous usage signal and your Asha fair-use counters. If your phone is offline at that moment, the app will tell you, and you can email support@taluvu.co.uk to have them removed for you.

If usage reporting was ever switched on, any copy of those anonymous signals held by our analytics provider is not removed by the in-app delete. Email support@taluvu.co.uk and we will remove that too. The usage signal is in any case deleted automatically after around 90 days.

Deleting the app from your phone may also remove local taluvu information from that device.

Your subscription

Deleting your taluvu data does not cancel a paid membership, and cancelling a membership does not delete your data. On iOS, your subscription is managed and cancelled in your Apple Account settings.

If accounts are added later

taluvu does not currently use accounts — your data belongs to the device, not to a login. If user accounts are added in the future, taluvu will add a proper account deletion process before that version goes live.
